The Wansbeck Rowing Club was initially based on the River Wansbeck, but moved to the River Blyth and then changed their name to Cambois Rowing Club. They moved once again, back to the River Blyth in 1977, but kept the name Cambois RC. For the full history, follow this link to Cambois RC
