The Harbour Cup is a trophy that was competed for on an annual basis between the clubs at the Tyne Estuary, South Shields ARC and Tynemouth RC.
The cup was initially presented by the Reverend H.S.S. Jackson and when the South Shields ARC ceased to operate the Cup was held by a family member of SSARC. During the 1970s the Cup was donated to Tynemouth RC and used thereafter for annual sculling competition. It is currently held in the vaults at Stanford & Lambert in Newcastle.
